T5W – Books to Read by the Fire (Winter/Holiday recommendations) | Blogmas #16
Hi guys!! Today is Blogmas day 16 and because this week Top 5 Wednesdays is related to Christmas I decided to combine both posts. Top 5 Wednesdays was created by gingerreadslainey and if you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This week theme as I said before is kind of holidays related and it is Top 5 Books to Read by the Fire (Winter/Holiday recommendations). Because I haven’t read a lot of holiday related books some of these books won’t have Christmas and Holidays as an important point in the story. Continue reading
Book Traveling Thursdays #15 – Thanksgiving Time
Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover. Because today is Thanksgiving (and by the way, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it) this weeks theme is It’s Thanksgiving Time! Choose a book you’re thankful for. For this week I decided to choose a book that I absolutely adore and that I’m thankful that I’ve read. The book is The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Let’s go see some covers. Continue reading

Book Recommendations: Favorite Books Part I

The Bath and Body Works Book Tag
Hi guys! Today I’m bringing you another book tag, the Bath and Body Works Book Tag. I was tagged by Valerie @ Little Dutch Bookshop so thank you Valerie for tagging me. If you haven’t visited her blog yet you should 🙂 ! I never went to Bath and Body Works because there is none in my country but believe me that if I had one close by I would spend a lot of time there because I’m obsessed with candles. So let’s start this tag.
3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge: Day 1
Hi guys! I was tagged by my fellow portuguese blogger, Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions, to do the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge. Thank you Cristina for tagging me :). It seems to be a pretty cool tag that will cause me problems because I don’t know how will I be able to choose only 3 quotes.
The Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.
Today I decided to choose a quote from one of my favorite books because it’s the first day of the challenge. The quote of the day comes from The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Even though I was torn with which quote I should pick for today I decided to choose this one:
Now for the nominations… I will tag:
Warisha at Warisha Reads
Valerie at Little Dutch Bookshop
Kacie at Kacie’s Bookshelf
I’ll be back tomorrow with another quote from other of my favorite books 🙂
