The Emoji Book Tag

the emoji book tag

Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by Mariana @ Book is Glee to The Emoji Book Tag so I decided to answer to this tag today. This tag consists of using some of the emojis that you love or use the most and find a book to match it up. Emojis is something that I actually use a lot when I’m tweeting but because I keep using the same emojis it wasn’t that difficult to choose my most used and favorite ones. As a disclaimer, I have a Samsung phone and because of that I decided to use Samsung emojis instead of the Apple ones. I actually think that Samsung emojis are way more cute than Apple emojis. The only problem is the lack of the unicorn emoji. So let’s see my picks for this tag 🙂 Continue reading

Top 10 Favorites of 2015 | Favorite Book Covers

favorite book covers

Hi guys! Once again I’m here to talk about some of my favorites of 2015. I already told you about my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015 and my Top 10 Favorite TV Shows of 2015(here and here) and today I’m going to be talking about my Top 10 Favorite Book Covers of 2015. Everyone loves a good book cover and you know that I love book covers so much that I created a weekly meme about it so I had to do this top. As a disclaimer I’m already telling you that I haven’t read every single one of these books and I don’t even own some of them. This top is all about covers and not about content so I think that I should also choose a few books I haven’t read yet. Continue reading

Top 10 Favorites of 2015 | Favorite Books

favorite books 2015

Hi guys! As you might know today starts the last week of 2015. Yes, next week by this time we will be in 2016. Can you imagine? This year went by so fast. Because of that this week will be dedicated to my favorites of 2015. It might be books, it might be TV Shows, it might as well be my favorite covers of 2015, I still don’t know for sure but I’ll have a new list each day. Actually, if you want me to do a list of something just tell me in the comments. I might like the idea and do it 🙂 . To start this week I thought that I should start with my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015, however, and because I keep cheating in these things, I’ll be showing you not 10 but 11 books (technically it’s more than 11 because I’ll have books from the same series). So let’s see some of my favorite books.

Disclaimer: These books are books that I’ve read in 2015 and because of that some of these books were released before this year. Also, the books that I’m going to show are going to appear in a random order because I couldn’t choose my favorite. Continue reading

T5W – Favorite Title Fonts on Covers

t5w

It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Favorite Title Fonts on Covers. I really like to appreciate the aesthetics of book covers but to be honest fonts is the last thing that I tend to notice. However this list made appreciate the fonts and understand how important they are in the final cover So let’s start this list.

The Lunar Chronicles – Marissa Meyer

Cinder (The Lunar Chronicles, #1)

I think that this font is really beautiful and it adds something to the cover itself. Not only that but it also looks a little bit futuristic for some reason 🙂 .

The Peach Keeper (Portuguese Edition)– Sarah Addison Allen

A Árvore dos Segredos

This is one of that books that I don’t hear anyone talking about and it makes me a little bit sad because Sarah Addison Allen has beautiful books. To be honest I love all of the portuguese edition covers of Sarah Addison Allen’s books and I think that the font is one of the things that caught my attention when I first saw this book (that and the beautiful cover also). The thing is that I really like the handwritten fonts and this one is just beautiful. However I’m mad now because the last book that was released here didn’t have this type of cover (an font) and now it doesn’t match with all the other beautiful books that I have that were written by the author.

Confess – Colleen Hoover

Confess

I really like the font that is used in this cover (and I loved the book). I like how the title is the main point of the cover and I love the colors used in the font. Is really gorgeous.

My Heart and Other Black Holes – Jasmine Warga

My Heart and Other Black Holes

One thing I love in titles is when people mix different fonts in the title. I do it a lot of the times in my post headers. Because of that I really like the fonts used in this cover. One thing important is that the different fonts need to look good when they are together and it really worked in this cover.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower – Stephen Chbosky

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

What a shock!! The Perks of Being a Wallflower in one of my lists (like it doesn’t happen almost every week 😛 ). I really love how the title looks handwritten and the words in the back. It really makes a beautiful cover.

Honorable Mentions:

T5W honorable mentions

These are some of my favorite book title fonts. What about you? Which books did you included in your top? Tell me in the comments.

The Bath and Body Works Book Tag

bath & body works book tag

If you haven’t visited her blog yet you should 🙂 !
