The Emoji Book Tag
Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by Mariana @ Book is Glee to The Emoji Book Tag so I decided to answer to this tag today. This tag consists of using some of the emojis that you love or use the most and find a book to match it up. Emojis is something that I actually use a lot when I’m tweeting but because I keep using the same emojis it wasn’t that difficult to choose my most used and favorite ones. As a disclaimer, I have a Samsung phone and because of that I decided to use Samsung emojis instead of the Apple ones. I actually think that Samsung emojis are way more cute than Apple emojis. The only problem is the lack of the unicorn emoji. So let’s see my picks for this tag 🙂 Continue reading
Top 10 Favorites of 2015 | Favorite Books
Hi guys! As you might know today starts the last week of 2015. Yes, next week by this time we will be in 2016. Can you imagine? This year went by so fast. Because of that this week will be dedicated to my favorites of 2015. It might be books, it might be TV Shows, it might as well be my favorite covers of 2015, I still don’t know for sure but I’ll have a new list each day. Actually, if you want me to do a list of something just tell me in the comments. I might like the idea and do it 🙂 . To start this week I thought that I should start with my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015, however, and because I keep cheating in these things, I’ll be showing you not 10 but 11 books (technically it’s more than 11 because I’ll have books from the same series). So let’s see some of my favorite books.
Disclaimer: These books are books that I’ve read in 2015 and because of that some of these books were released before this year. Also, the books that I’m going to show are going to appear in a random order because I couldn’t choose my favorite. Continue reading

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge: Day 3
Hi guys! Today the final day of the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge. Once again, thank you Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions for tagging me :). If you want to see the quote for day 1 and 2 click here and here.
The Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.
The quote for today comes from one of my favorite books of 2015 so far. It is My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga. This is a book about depression and suicide and while there are quite a few quotes about the subject I decided to pick a quote a little bit more positive.
Now for the nominations… I will tag:
Bhramori at thecrazyperfectionist
Danielle at Danielle’s Book Blog
And this was the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge. Thank you again Cristina for tagging me. It was fun to do this challenge 🙂
Book Covers Around the World #3
Today I bring you again Book Covers Around the World I’ve had such an amazing feedback in my previous posts so I’m going to try to do this once every two weeks. However I would really like if left suggestions on the comments because I’m having some problems on the books I should choose. Today the chosen book is My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga. This is one of my favorite books that were released this year so I wanted to do it this week (you can see my review here) . So let’s start it.
My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga – Review
Publication Date:
February 10th 2015
Goodreads Synopsis:
Sixteen-year-old physics nerd Aysel is obsessed with plotting her own death. With a mother who can barely look at her without wincing, classmates who whisper behind her back, and a father whose violent crime rocked her small town, Aysel is ready to turn her potential energy into nothingness.
There’s only one problem: she’s not sure she has the courage to do it alone. But once she discovers a website with a section called Suicide Partners, Aysel’s convinced she’s found her solution: a teen boy with the username FrozenRobot (aka Roman) who’s haunted by a family tragedy is looking for a partner.
Even though Aysel and Roman have nothing in common, they slowly start to fill in each other’s broken lives. But as their suicide pact becomes more concrete, Aysel begins to question whether she really wants to go through with it. Ultimately, she must choose between wanting to die or trying to convince Roman to live so they can discover the potential of their energy together. Except that Roman may not be so easy to convince.
Review:
In the previous months I’ve read a few suicide related books. They have all been so different and took different approaches about this sensitive topic. This one is now my favourite. Why? Because throughout the story you can notice how Aysel goes from a hopeless girl to someone who really wants to live. When she got a suicide partner she was ready to die but her interactions with Roman showed hr that there is more life to live. Both characters have a heart-breaking story, specially Roman, that lead them to want to end their life, but the author was able to show that it is possible to live through the darkness and try to accept how we are while portraying a character with depression and her struggles through the disease. Also, the characters were amazingly well written making the reading experience even better.
Overall, if you think that that this is a painfull thing to read you’re right, but it is also a book that shows that even behind all the darkness there is some hope. I can also say that I am excited to read more books of this author.
