Hi guys! Today I decided to start doing some book recommendations and I’ll try to do this often with different themes. Hi guys! Today I’m bringing you another book tag, the Bath and Body Works Book Tag. I was tagged by Valerie @ Little Dutch Bookshop so thank you Valerie for tagging me. If you haven’t visited her blog yet you should 🙂 ! I never went to Bath and Body Works because there is none in my country but believe me that if I had one close by I would spend a lot of time there because I’m obsessed with candles. So let’s start this tag.

Book Traveling Thursdays #4 – It is Almost Time to go Back to School

Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover. This week theme is It is Almost Time to go Back to School which means that he have to choose a book that mostly occurs in a high school. For this week theme I decided to choose one of my favorite books ever, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

Original Cover:

or

This is the cover that I see everywhere. I didn’t like this cover before but it’s something that grew on me and now I actually like it. I like how simple it is and that doesn’t show Charlie’s face.

Cover from my Country (Portugal):

brasil

Once again I can’t find the portuguese cover but I’m pretty sure that I saw the book around when the movie was released. I haven’t found the cover but I decided to share the brazilian cover first because it’s written in portuguese and also because I’m pretty sure that the books that I saw a few years ago had a similar cover to this one. Another reason why I decided to share this cover is Logan Lerman. He’s great and I try to use any excuse to have his face in this blog 😛 .

Favorite Cover:

favorite editions

I love both of these covers. They are just beautiful in their own ways. I can’t even find a thing that I don’t like in these covers.

Least Favorite Covers:

I don’t know what these people had in their minds but these covers are just terrible. I don’t understand the german cover. It looks like they wanted something similar to the original cover but they failed miserably. The lithuanian is just weird and I don’t understand how this cover relates to the book itself.

So this is it, this week Book Traveling Thursdays. What did you think of these covers? Tell me in the comments 🙂 .

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge: Day 2

3days3quotes

Hi guys! Today is day two of the 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge. Once again, thank you Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions for tagging me :). It seems to be a pretty cool tag that will cause me problems because I don’t know how to choose only one quote. If you want to see the quote for day 1 click here.

The Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

The quotes (yes, quotes) for today comes from another of my favorite books (and also one of my favorite movies) The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. If you’ve read this book before you know that this is one of that books full of amazing and really true quotes. This means that today I couldn’t choose only one quote.

Now for the nominations… I will tag:

Panda at Panda’s Books

Saba and Hafsa at BookMates

Trey at Trey Schnarr Books

I’ll be back tomorrow with another quote 🙂

P.S.: I think we need an extra quote from this book so here it is 🙂 (because we don’t enough quotes yet, right?)
