Hi guys! We are already in November which means that it’s time to do my October wrap-up. I didn’t read a lot this month. I only read 4 books (one of them was a novella) and I am currently reading two other books. So these were the books I’ve read and started reading during the month of October. Continue reading

September Wrap-Up
Hi guys! It’s already the first day of October which means that it’s time to do my monthly wrap-up. I actually did pretty well this month. I read a total of 7 books (ok, 6 books and a novella) which is not a lot. However if you don’t know I’ve been in a kind of slump since I read 10 books in February and then I only read about 4/5 books monthly. This means that I’m actually really happy with the number of books I’ve read and maybe I’m coming back to my normal self 😛 So these were the books I’ve read during the month of September. The Bedtime Book Tag
I’m back again with another book tag. I know that I’ve been publishing a lot of book tags and blog awards but I’m almost caught up. Today I bring you The Bedtime Book Tag. I was tagged by Giovanna @ bookcomablog. Thank you Giovanna for tagging me. If you want to go check her blog that is amazing 🙂 !! Let’s start answering to this tag.
1. A book that kept you up all night reading
I already told you this a few times but anything by Colleen Hoover. I normally start her books and read it until the end. One that I can remember pretty well in Confess. I stayed up until 4am reading it. Another one, and most recently, it’s The Fill-in Boyfriend by Kasie West.
2. A book that made you scared to sleep
I don’t normally read scary books but maybe Dark Places by Gillian Flynn? It didn’t scare me but there were a few situations that were messed up
3. A book that made you go to sleep
Definitely Emma by Jane Austen. I just don’t like that book. I’ve been trying to read it for the last 5 years and I just can’t finish it. The sad thing about this is that I love Jane Austen and this book is the only one that I haven’t read yet.
4. A book that left you tossing and turning all night in anticipation of it’s release
I don’t normally anticipate books that much so I don’t think that ever happen to me. Maybe it will happen when Winter is finally released in November.
5. A book that has your dream boyfriend
Only one?? Really? Do I really have to choose? This is like having to choose your favorite child and I don’t want to…
Okay… maybe Will Herondale?? (Dean Winchester was also a good option but he’s not from a book)
6. A book that would be your worst nightmare to live in
Anything that involves dystopian societies like The Hunger Games, especially The Hunger Games.
7. A book that reminds your of night-time
The Lunar Chronicles. I think that because part of this book it’s on the moon it reminds me a lot of night-time.
8. A book that had a nightmarish cliffhanger
Let me think about this one… Probably any Mortal Instruments book. Every time I finished one of the books I needed the next one right away.
9. A book that you actually dreamed about
I’m pretty sure I dreamed about a book a few weeks ago but I can’t remember which. I really can’t but I know that when I woke up I remembered pretty well and it was a great dream. 😛
(and now I’m left singing Good Company from Oliver & Company… what have I done??)
10. A book monster that you would not want to find under your bed
Anything that looks like a snake. I have a snake phobia. It’s pretty bad so I wouldn’t want to find anything even worse under my bed. The first one that comes to my mind it’s Nagini from Harry Potter. I wouldn’t want her under my bed. Actually I don’t want anything that looks like a snake in a 100 km radius.
I don’t know who already answered to this tag but I’m tagging:
Warisha at Warisha Reads
Valerie @ Little Dutch Bookshop
Kacie at Kacie’s Bookshelf
Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions
Bianca @ The Ultimate Fangirl

Kimsiang @ LazyCaramelReads

Book Awards – The Sunshine Blogger Award
Hi guys :)! I was nominated for a few awards so I’m going to answer to one of them. So I was nominated by Katniss Potter Booklover for The Sunshine Blogger Award. First of all thank you for nominating me for this award :). Let’s start this.
“The whole idea of the Sunshine Award is that you nominate bloggers who put a little Sunshine in your day, who are positive, creative and inspiring.”
Rules:
- Answer the 11 questions from the blogger who nominated you.
- Nominate some wonderful bloggers and write 11 questions for them to answer.
My Answers:
1. What is your favorite time of the day?
I love mornings… It’s my favorite time of the day. I love to wake up and start my day.
2. What do you like about being outside?
The fresh air and having the sun in my face.
3. What is your favorite book you read so far this year? (You can pick more than one I know it’s difficult.)
I have three books that I absolutely loved so far. These books are: My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga, Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli and most recently Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
4. What do you like about blogging?
I love that I can talk with other people about books. My friends and my family don’t read so it’s great to have someone to talk with. And the book blogging community is great so that’s a bonus :).
5. What colors do you like to wear?
In the summer I tend to wear a lot of blue and black but in the winter it’s more burgundy and black. If you had asked me a couple of years ago I would say pink because I loved pink by that time.
6. Do you have siblings? If so, how is your relationship with them?
I’m an only child but I have a weird relationship with my aunt because we always lived close to each other and she’s almost like my sister and we have a great relationship.
7. What is your favorite thing in the world (or universe) beside books and blogging/writing?
Can I say shopping?? I have a shopping problem especially when I have home decorations in front of me. I love home decorations and I keep changing my room because of that.
8. What TV shows do you like to watch?
Right now I only watch Teen Wolf but I also love Supernatural and Doctor Who. I also love any thing that comes from Marvel but I still have to finish Agent Carter and Daredevil… and also Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (I’ve been lazy with TV shows ok? :D)
9. Who are your favorite bloggers?
I don’t have a favorite blogger or blog but I love to read Cristina’s blog My Tiny Obsessions first because she’s portuguese like me and also because she doesn’t talk only about books. She also talks about fandom things and TV shows and movies and I love that.
10. What would you like to change in the world?
This might be stupid but I would love to end the financial crisis. Portugal was one of the countries that was hit with the crisis a few years ago and while is not as bad as in Greece it’s still pretty hard. I would also love to see more people reading and enjoying it.
11. What would you like to accomplish in the future?
I would love to say that I found a job in my area because it’s being really difficult and being able to finally get my own home.

Book Awards – Real Neat Blogger Award
Hi guys. So I was nominated by Nymphadora Winterfell for the Real Neat Blogger Award so today I decided to answer to her questions. First of all thank you Nymphadora Winterfell for nominating me for this award :). Let’s start this.
Rules:
1. Thank and link the blogger who nominated you.
2. Answer the 7 questions the nomination has provided.
3. Nominate 7 other bloggers.
4. Create 7 questions for your nominees.
Questions:
1. What book would you recommend for others?
The book I recommend every time is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I think that is such an amazing book and everyone should read it.
2. What made you start blogging?
I think I talked about this before. Basically I’ve been unemployed since I finished my MSc last December. After being a long time without anything productive I decided to start a blog because it was something that I was thinking for a long time but didn’t had the time before.
3. Do you have an inspirational person that has inspired you? Who?
This is really cliche but my mom (hope she doesn’t see this :). We are really close and she inspires me a lot. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be who I am today.
4. If you were to eat the same thing for a month, what would you eat?
Probably Hawaii pizza because it’s my favorite pizza and I love pizza or, if mom wanted to cook it, “arroz de pato” (rice with duck) because it’s one of my favorite dishes and it’s something that I don’t eat constantly.
5. Where do you purchase your books from?
It depends. I normally buy it in FNAC because it’s one of the few stores in Portugal that has english editions of the books. However the books take a long time to be available there so sometimes I have to buy them online.
6. Apart from books, do you have other interests and what are they?
I tend to change my interests quite often. There was one time that I was into making necklaces and bookmarks and in other time I was really into DIYs. Right now I love to watch a ton of Youtube videos and play Minecraft. I know, it’s weird.
7. What is your all time favorite tv show?
I can’t even think of an all time favorite show. When I was a kid I loved Sailor Moon, Digimon and Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin). They were all great animes :). I also love Friends and Doctor Who (only the new generation. I still have to watch all of the old episodes). I also love Supernatural since the beginning of the show.
My Questions:
1. What did you want to be when you grew up?
2. What’s the song you’re constantly listening to?
3. You’re stranded in an island. Which 3 things would you take with you?
4. If you could go anywhere on the planet, where would you want to go?

6. Name 3-5 fabulous people you met because of blogging
7. Share 3 random facts about you.
I will not be anyone in particular because I don’t know who did and didn’t do this but if you want to answer to my questions do it and tell me in the comments :).
