This recommendations post will be a little bit different from the others because it will be split in categories. So let’s see which books made to this list 🙂 . Continue reading

Top 10 Favorites of 2015 | Favorite Books
Hi guys! As you might know today starts the last week of 2015. Yes, next week by this time we will be in 2016. Can you imagine? This year went by so fast. Because of that this week will be dedicated to my favorites of 2015. It might be books, it might be TV Shows, it might as well be my favorite covers of 2015, I still don’t know for sure but I’ll have a new list each day. Actually, if you want me to do a list of something just tell me in the comments. I might like the idea and do it 🙂 . To start this week I thought that I should start with my Top 10 Favorite Books of 2015, however, and because I keep cheating in these things, I’ll be showing you not 10 but 11 books (technically it’s more than 11 because I’ll have books from the same series). So let’s see some of my favorite books.
Disclaimer: These books are books that I’ve read in 2015 and because of that some of these books were released before this year. Also, the books that I’m going to show are going to appear in a random order because I couldn’t choose my favorite. Continue reading
T5W – Favorite Retellings
It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. As I might have noticed I skipped last week T5W mainly because the theme was favorite audiobooks and I’ve only listened to one audiobook. However I’m back and this week theme is Favorite Retellings. When I saw this week theme I was really happy because I love retellings. This was until the moment I tried to think retellings I’ve read and I couldn’t remember almost any retelling. It looks like I haven’t read that many retellings so this isn’t going to be a top 5, instead I’ll present you the top 4 retellings I’ve read. Continue reading
T5W – Authors I Discovered This Year
It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Authors I Discovered This Year. This year has been a great year for me when talking about new authors that I discovered and this happened mainly because of the blogging community. Because of that it was hard to choose only 5 of them. So let’s see some of the author I discovered this year. Continue reading
Be, Room, Cliff Book Tag
Hi guys!! I told you the other day that I was going to do the Be, Room, Cliff book tag after doing the Marry, Kiss, Cliff Tag (see it here). Today is the day that I do it. once again it was a pretty funny tag to do. For this tag you have to choose 3 book female characters randomly and decide which one you want to be, have as roommate or throw off a cliff. Let’s start it.
Round 1
0
For the first round I got Clary Fray (The Mortal Instruments), Eleanor (Eleanor & Park) and Tris Prior (Divergent).
This round was quite easy. I don’t want to be Eleanor because she has a rough life and I wouldn’t want to go through what she went but I would love to have her as my roommate/best friend. Now between Clary and Tris I decided that I would like to be Clary more than Tris. So I would be Clary and I would kill Tris (not that killing her would change anything).
Round 2
0
In the second round the names sorted were Hermione Granger from Harry Potter, Tessa Gray from The Infernal Devices and Nehemia from Throne of Glass.
Just to start this round really well I would be Tessa. I’m not even explaining why. If you follow this blog you might know that I love this series (ans she has Will and Jem in her life 😛 ). I wouldn’t want to kill any of these girls but if I had to it would be Nehemia. This means that I would have Hermione has my roommate. Who wouldn’t want Hermione as her roommate?
Round 3
0
For this round the characters are: Hazel Grace Lancaster (The Fault in Our Stars), Feyre (A Court of Throns and Roses) and Alice Cullen (Twilight Saga).
Once again let’s start with the easy one, I would be Feyre without a doubt. For the other characters I wouldn’t want to kill any of them but I decided that I would like to have Alice as my roommate instead of Hazel. This means that I would kill Hazel. Sorry Hazel… It’s not that I don’t like you but I don’t want to be you and Alice would be a better roommate/best friend.
Round 4
In this fourth round the characters chosen were America Singer from The Selection, Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games.
Let’s start with the easy one. I would kill America because she drives me crazy and I don’t like her. I would finish The Selection series if she wasn’t this terrible main character that I don’t like. Between Katniss and Luna I don’t know who I’d want to be. Probably I wouldn’t want to be Katniss because I don’t want to participate in The Hunger Games so I would have her as my roommate. No one would try to mess with us. This means that I would be Luna which it’s not that bad because she’s quirky and a little bit crazy in a good way.
Round 5
0
For this round I got Isabelle Lightwood (The Mortal Instruments), Cath Avery (Fangirl) and Mara Dyer.
This round is quite easy even if wouldn’t want to kill any of them. I would be Cath because we are both fangirls and because she has Levi in her life. I would have Isabelle has my roommate/best friend because she’s amazing and once again no one would mess with me if she was my best friend. This means that I would have to throw Mara Dyer from a cliff. Sorry Mara. I don’t want to do it but I have to.
Round 6
This tag is almost in the end but we still have two rounds to go. For this second to last round the names sorted were Celia Bowen from The Night Circus, Celeana Sardothien from Throne of Glass and Anna Oliphant from Anna and the French Kiss.
I might love Celeana and the Throne of Glass series but I wouldn’t want to be her because she has to deal with a lot of stuff. This means that I would have her as my best friend and she could introduce me to Chaol and Dorian (and once again no one would mess up with me if she was my friend). I would be Anna because she lived in Paris alone (of course that my choice has nothing to do with St. Clair ok? 😛 ). This means that I would have to throw Celia from a cliff and that would break my heart but it’s something that I had to do.
Round 7
0
The last characters sorted for this tag were Cinder from The Lunar Chronicles, Bella Swan from the Twilight Saga and Juliette Ferrars from Shatter Me.
I’m going to say what everyone is thinking… I would throw Bella from a cliff. No explanation needed. I would have Cinder as my roommate and I would be Juliette. Once again this choice has nothing to do with the guy. I don’t even like Warner, he’s terrible 😛 … of course that I’d want to be Juliette because of Warner. He’s amazing and she’s a lucky girl.

So this was the Be, Room, Cliff Book Tag. If you end up doing this tag tell me in the comments so I can see your choices 😀
T5W – Favorite Fictional Cities
It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Favorite Fictional Cities. There are a lot of fictional cities that I would love to visit but I was able to choose only five for the sake of this post 🙂 . So let’s start this list.
5. The Shire & Rivendell – The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings
The scenery from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings is just stunning so it’s normal that it has some of my favorite cities. I would love to go visit and if I could I would go to New Zealand to visit The Shire.
4. Luna – The Lunar Chronicles
Look at this image. How amazing does Luna looks? Of course that it would have to be in this list. Not only it’s beautiful but imagine that we could visit the moon.
3. Faerie Realms – A Court of Throns and Roses
I loved this book and the Spring Court description was just amazing. I would love to visit not only the Spring Court but also the other Courts too.
2. Hogwarts and Diagon Alley – Harry Potter
Let’s be real. You all would love to visit anything from the Harry Potter world. I just hope that I can visit the Warner Bros Studio to at least try to feel like I was in the Harry Potter universe.
1. Idris – The Mortal Instruments
I love everything that Cassandra Clare writes so it’s obvious that my favorite fictional city would be Idris. Basically I would love to visit Idris if I could.
These are some of my favorite fictional places. What about you? Which fictional cities did you included in your top? Tell me in the comments.
T5W – Favorite Maps
It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Favorite Maps. So let’s start this list
5. The Luminaries – Eleanor Catton
I have still to read this book but I started it last year and I was always looking for the map. The best thing of this map is that these are real places in New Zealand.
4. The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkien
I loved The Hobbit and once again I kept looking to the map every time I was reading because I wanted to know where they were and how the journey was.
3 and 2 . Throne of Glass and A Court of Throns and Roses – Sarah J. Maas
Both these maps are beautiful and I love to see where the different places are in these series. Another thing I love about these maps is that we can see where all the Faerie Courts are and how small the Mortal Lands are.
1. Harry Potter – J.K. Rowling
Technically this is not a map of the world but I love The Marauder’s Map and it had to be my number 1 pick. I would love to have a map like this. And just so you know, I love this map so much that I want to buy a pajama that I saw at Primark that has the map printed. I would be happy with a pajama like that :).
These are some of the my favorite maps. What about you? Which maps did you included in your top? Tell me in the comments.
T5W – Side Characters That Deserve Their Own Series
It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Side Characters That Deserve Their Own Series. Let’s start this list.
5. Isaac – The Fault in Our Stars
I would love to know more about Isaac’s story after the events of The Fault in Our Stars. This guy fought a battle against cancer, lost his sight and his best friend. I would love to know what happened to him and how he dealt with everything.
4. Tamlin – A Court of Throns and Roses
I think that Tamlin should have at least a novella. I would love to know everything that happened before he was cursed and also how his youth was.
3. Kenji – Shatter Me
Kenji was one of the best characters of the Shatter Me series so I would read a novel about his past.
2. Tsukiko – The Night Circus
A book about Tsukiko past would be a dream come true. If you’ve read The Night Circus you might know that Tsukiko talks a little bit about her past. I would love to read the complete story of it.
1. Patrick – The Perks of Being a Wallflower
By now you might know that The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my favorite books. I would read a book written in Patrick’s perspective and also from his past. Patrick is an amazing character and he totally deserved his own book.
These are some of the characters that I think that should have their own novels. What about you? Which characters did you included in your top? Tell me in the comments.
Disney Villain Book Tag
I was tagged by Kacie @ Kacie’s Bookshelf to do the Disney Villains Book Tag and because I love Disney I decided to answer it today. This tag was created by Chelsea Martin. Because I didn’t know what too choose for two of the categories I decided not to answer it. Let’s start it.
Maleficent: A book or book series in which there is an overwhelming sense of evil/doom
For this one I’m choosing the Throne of Glass series. I don’t know why but every time I’m reading it something evil happens in the book. So yeah, it was the obvious choice for me.
The Evil Queen (Snow White): A book or book series in which the villain tricks the hero
Do I need to explain this one? I’ve only read the first 5 books but every time, like every freaking time Voldemort manages to trick Harry.
Cruella de Vil: A book or book series in which the villain brings about their own demise
For this one I have to choose The Mortal Instruments series. And the reason I choose to put two covers? I needed because I’m talking about two different characters that are actually father and son. Everything that Valentine and Sebastian did led them to their demise, but mainly Valentine. He’s the one to blame.
Ursula: A book or book series that left you speechless
Is anyone surprised with this? I love The Infernal Devices. Actually I love everything that Cassandra Clare does but I love this series a little bit more than The Mortal Instruments so I picked it .).
Jafar: A book or book series in which the villain almost wins
I was going to choose City of Heavenly Fire for this one but I’ve already used it and I don’t want to repeat myself a lot. Because of that I pick A Court of Throns and Roses. If you’ve read it you know that a lot happened in that last chapters. And I’m not talking about Rhys OK? I’m talking about Amarantha.
Hades: A book or book series in which you can’t help but love the villain
Another one that was really obvious for me: Warner from Shatter Me. I know he’s not really a villain but he was and I couldn’t think of any other villain that I loved.
Scar: A book or book series with familial betrayal
Once again I will have two pick for this category. For the first one I will only say one thing: Insurgent. WHY???? My second pick is Nathaniel Gray from The Infernal Devices. I don’t know how he could do such thing too his own sister.
Hans: A book or book series with a villain you didn’t see coming
I was going to say Nathaniel Gray but I used that one in the previous category. Instead of that option I decided to choose Maven from Red Queen. I was not expecting it, like never. I needed to take a little break when I found out.
So this is it. I will not tag anyone in particular to do this tag. I will tag everyone who wants to do it. If you decide to do it just tell me in the comments and consider yourself tagged :).
The Summer Reader Book Tag
Hi guys. Today I bring you The Summer Reader Book Tag. I was tagged by Alextheshadowgirl and by Trey to answer this tag and I decided to do it today. So let’s start it.
1. Lemonade: Pick a book that started off bitter but then got better
I’m going to choose one of my recent reads for this one mostly because I can’t remember other book. I loved the book Damage Done by Amanda Panitch. I wasn’t enjoying the beginning but it got so much better.
2. Golden Sun: Pick a book that made you smile beyond compare
Once again, I’m picking something I read most recently. In this casa it was The Fill-in Boyfriend by Kasie West. Let’s just say that someone (me, obviously) read that book in one sitting and was smiling, alone without stopping at 4 am.
3. Tropical Flowers: Pick a book set in a different country
Basically all the books that I read are set in a different country so I don’t know what to choose. I’m going to choose The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. The book is set in a few different countries and it’s one of my favorites.
4. Tree Shade: Pick a book where a mysterious or shady character was introduced
Sebastian Morgenstern from The Mortal Instruments. I can’t remember of someone as shady and mysterious as him. And I love the book series so that’s a bonus =).
5. Beach Sand: Pick a book that was grainy, and the plot barely developed
I have to pick City Love for this one. I had a lot of problems with that book and didn’t understand some of the things that happened.
6. Green Grass: Pick a character(s) that were full of life, making you smile
This one is easy. Simon from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. He made me smile most of the times while reading this book.
7. Watermelon: Pick a book that had some juicy secrets
I’m going to pick Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas for this one. Let’s be real. There are secrets after secrets in that book.
8. Sun Hat: Pick a book with a vast, big universe/setting
I’m going to repeat myself for this one but I’m going to choose Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I love the books I’ve read so far and it has a big setting.
9. BBQ: Pick a book in which a character was portrayed as a hunk
I really need to think for this one because normally all the characters are portrayed as hunks. But for this one I’m going to keep the Sarah J. Maas theme and I’m going to pick Tamlin from A Court of Throns and Roses.
10. Summer Fun: Pass the tag on
I don’t know if any of them already answered to this tag of they were tagged but I’m choosing
Warisha at Warisha Reads
Panda at Panda’s Books
Valerie at Little Dutch Bookshop
Kacie at Kacie’s Bookshelf
Bhramori at thecrazyperfectionist
These are my picks for The Summer Reader Book Tag. Who would you choose? If I haven’t tagged you and you want to do this do it and tell me in the comments.
