The Two-Night One-Night Wedding by Ryan Ringbloom – eARC Review

The Two-Night One-Night WeddingPublication Date:

May 22nd, 2017

Publisher:

Ryan Ringbloom

Goodreads Synopsis:

A girl. A guy. And a wedding.

Matthew Daniels and Holly Martin had a one-night stand, TWICE and love prevailed. Once Matthew proposes, the hard part is over. The rest is a piece of WEDDING cake. There’s nothing to stress over now.

However, budgets, a bitter best friend, enormous amounts of family time and an unexpected change of address may say otherwise.

Thank God for Fireball.

Matthew is super weird and accident prone, add extreme to that mix and you’ve got Holly. These two over the top, adorkable weirdos are destined for each other, a perfect match.

But does EVERYONE see it that way?

The true test to knowing whether you’re ready to take the plunge is surviving the engagement.

Will Holly and Matthew survive? Or will awkward cold feet have them running in opposite directions?

Review:

*I was provided a copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest review

Since I read the book before this one a few months ago as soon as saw this one on NetGalley I had to request it. To be honest, The Two-Night One-Night Stand was hilarious so of course I wanted to read this one. While there were a lot of funny scenes in this book I didn’t enjoy it as much as the previous one. It still had a rom-com vibe and I wouldn’t mind to watch something like this because it would be hilarious.

Once again, I really like the characters in this book however I had a few problems with the friends and family. This book is about Holly and Matthew’s wedding. What got me mad was that everyone wanted to have an opinion about the wedding. I didn’t like when Jayne criticized Holly’s choices about the wedding. As Holly’s best-friend she should have been supportive and not a bitch putting doubts in her friend’s head. I also didn’t like how pushy Matthew’s family was sometimes. They were always there and there was always something stupid happening. I would have just loved to see Matthew and Holly to stand up for themselves sometimes. I did enjoy the book and it was funny.

Overall, this was a really fast and enjoyable read. While I might have had a few problems with this book I still think it was a funny read so if you have some free time, don’t know what to read and want something light and funny you should give this one a try because it won’t disappoint you.

Rating:

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think about it? If you haven’t read it would you read it?
