Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.
This week’s theme is Choose a book from a genre that you don’t read that often but loved anyway. This year I’ve been trying to read more non-fiction books and more memoirs and I read a few so far. One of the books I read recently was All I Know Now by Carrie Hope Fletcher. Here’s the thing, I love everything Fletcher related, from Tom Fletcher to his wife, Gi Fletcher, their adorable kids and his sister, Carrie. It’s not a wonder I wanted to read this book and I really loved it, even if I think I would have loved it more if I had read it when I was younger. Anyway, I decided it was a great book to choose for today because I don’t normally read non-fiction but I really enjoyed this one. Here are the covers for this book:
Original and Favorite Cover:
Yellow is definitely not one my favorite colors… I just don’t like it that much. However, I do love this cover because it catches your attention. I also like the layout and Carrie’s picture. Also, have you seen this cover under the dust-jacket?? IT’S ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
Least Favorite Covers:
The fact these are my least favorite covers it doesn’t mean I don’t like these… I just like the original one more. I do love both of these are purple but I don’t think the color works that well in the first cover. It would have been better if it was a little bit lighter. The second cover is adorable but it doesn’t caught my attention as much as the original one.
