Book Traveling Thursdays #78 – Take a Walk in the Park Day

wToday is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.

This week’s theme is It’s Take a Walk in the Park Day… choose a book that always relaxes you. Today I decided to choose Wallbanger by Alice Clayton. In my opinion a relaxing book has to be a book that not only relaxs you but also make you laugh and smile and that’s what happened when I read Wallbanger so I had to choose it for this week. Here are some of the covers for this book:

Original and Favorite Cover:

Wallbanger (Cocktail, #1)

Let’s be honest, this is not the best cover out there but you know what?? I love it anyway. I grew to love this cover and everything about it… it’s also way better than the other covers out there.

Least Favorite Covers:

Can anyone try to explain to me what he hell is up with these covers??? First of all, it looks like they all love feet or hands for some reason which is really weird. Also, these covers are not that good… especially the one from Brazil.

So this is it, this week Book Traveling Thursdays. What did you think of this cover? Tell me in the comments 🙂

  1. I haven’t read this book. Definitely need to so I can jump back on board the New Adult train.
Definitely agree with you how the others covers are weird. As soon as I looked at the Indonesian cover I went “creepy”. The hands look so odd, it’s like the womans hand is trying to claw away and the hand on top is pulling her back. The hand from the Adamms Family perhaps?!
My brain goes into such weird depths…
