Book Traveling Thursdays #71 – First Read of 2017!

Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.

This week’s theme is With a new year comes new books… Choose your first read of 2017. My first read of 2017 was a pretty good one and it was My Perfect Mistake by Kelly Siskind. I just love this book and I loved Kolton and Shay… Can’t wait to read the other books in this series. However, this book only has one cover so I won’t have a lot to say today. But anyway, here’s the only cover for this book:

I’m kind of in love with this cover. In the past year I grew up to accept people in covers when it’s well done and when there’s not too much face showing. I’m sorry, I just can’t like faces in covers because those are normally weird. I do love this cover not only because it’s simple but also because I like the contrast of the picture used in black and white with the pink title and author name. This is a style that always works for me. It worked in the Off-Campus series, it works in the Kingston Ale House series and it works in this one. I just love it.
