Top 10 Favorites of 2016 | Favorite TV Shows

Hi guys! It’s the last week of 2016 and just like last year I want to talk about some of my favorite things of 2016. This year I’m going to start by talking about some of my Top 10 Favorite TV Shows of 2016. I recently realized that I don’t watch that many TV shows but I still love it and there are a few I can’t miss so I need to talk about it. Some of the TV shows I’m going to talk about today I also talked about last year but I also have a few new (and sometimes new to me) TV shows that I loved.

Supernatural

I think this is one of those TV shows that are already a staple on my life and it looks like it will be like that for a long time. Season 11 was not my favorite in some aspects but I loved it another other things. While the whole Darkness arc was not for me I still loved the season overall and I loved to see Dean and Sam together once again. I should really start season 12 soon but this is one of those shows I just love to binge watch when I have time.

The 100

Remember how last year I told you I was waiting for season 3 of The 100?? No?? It’s pretty normal don’t worry XD. But yeah, last year I talked about how much I needed that in my life and obviously I had to watch it… not right away but I did watch it. Season 3 was not as good as season 2 but I loved it anyway. It would just had been better if my sweet cinnamon roll Bellamy wasn’t a little bit dumb in the first few episodes… also, there were a lot of people lost in season 3 and I’m still not okay with some of them (and no, I’m not talking about you know who).

iZombie

I’m just going to be straight honest in here, I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW!! I love everything about it and especially the characters. Liv and Major are the best and I totally ship those two together. I can’t wait to see what will happen to them next because let’s be real, Liv’s zombie boyfriends don’t have the best luck. I love Clive and can’t wait to see what will happen next since his life changed with him realizing some things about things. And let’s not forget about the most important character in the whole show, Ravi. I just can’t wait to see Ravi being weird and adorable every single episode. Yep, as you can see I really love a lot of things about this show and it helps that it keeps getting better.

The Royals

Okay, I should calm down about this but THE ROYALS IS BACK AND I CAN’T WAIT TO FINALLY WATCH IT!!! As you might know this was one of my favorite shows of last year and while I still watched a few more episodes in the beginning of this year it still made my favorites because it’s The Royals. It’s an awesome show and while I still have to start season 3 (that just premiered) I know it will be awesome not only because Kat has been keeping me updated about it but also because a lot of things happened in the end of season 2.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

 Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the last TV show I’ll feature today that was already on my top last year. After months of waiting I finally watched season 2 and I loved it and it was as funny as season 1. I can’t even describe how much I love this show, especially Ellie Kemper and Tituss Burgess. They are the best part of this show without any doubt. The second best part of the show is the opening. That song is so catchy😄. And let’s not forget about all the cameos season 2 had… SO GOOD. I can’t wait for season 3.

Hit the Floor

This might have been one of my biggest obsessions of the year. It looks like that if you share a lot of gifs of the same couple from a TV show I’ll try to find from what TV show that is and I’ll get obsessed mostly because of that said couple. Look, as much as I loved Hit the Floor Jude and Zero were the best part of it. This show is a complete guilty pleasure full of drama but I just love it and I love how much it focus in dance and football. It’s pretty cool. I season think the Summer special was the series finale but I wouldn’t be against a spin-off about the new king and king of Los Angeles… actually, I would watch that every week without any doubt.

Sailor Moon Crystal

Technically this is not a TV show but deal with it. I’m not doing a post about animes I watched because I only watched 2 so there are not enough to talk about. Sailor Moon was a big part of my childhood and I’ve heard of and started watching the remake a long time ago so this year I ended up watching the first 2 seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal. Let me tell you, I loved it and I still love Sailor Moon as much as I did when I was a little girl but damn that anime is obscure. That is too dramatic for a kid to watch. Still love it with all my heart XD.

Poldark

I watched Poldark at the end of this Summer after wanting to start something new and having Kat and Cristina telling me I should start it. I loved it and it was one of my favorite shows of the year without any doubt. I did only watch season 1 and right now I have no idea when I’ll be watching season 2 because I heard about a few things I didn’t like. But season 1 was amazing and you should definitely watch it.

Shadowhunters

Okay, let’s be honest… this show isn’t a masterpiece. Do I care about it?? NO! I loved it anyway. Yes, it has a lot that can be worked on and I really hope they change a few things on season 2 (btw, can’t wait for season 2. Less than a week to go!!) but overall I really enjoyed it. Also, Shadowhunters brought us Matthew Daddario and if that isn’t a good reason to love the show I don’t care. And let’s not forget about Malec because seeing Malec coming to life was amazing and I loved everything about it!

The Shannara Chronicles

Guys, if you haven’t watched The Shannara Chronicles what are you waiting for?? It’s amazing and wonderful and I love everything about it. I love the scenery and the story and so beautifully shot. It’s a really great TV show and let’s just hope MTV doesn’t do to it what did to Teen Wolf because that show went downhill and I don’t want the same to happen to The Shannara Chronicles. Now, when can we have season 2?? It has been almost a year since season 1 premiered and I need to know what happens next.
