It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey and hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This week theme is Books That Took You the Longest to Finish. Most of the times I take longer to read a book when I’m not enjoying it that much but that’s not the case every time. For example, it took me almost one month to read Lady Midnight and The Unexpected Everything. That doesn’t mean I loved those books any less. To be honest, Lady Midnight is still one of my favorite reads of 2016 and I loved everything about it. It just took me a really long time to finish the book XD. Even the other books I took longer not because I didn’t like it but mostly because I was either on a reading slump or the book was super slow. But anyway, here’s my top for this week:
These are some of the Books That Took me the Longest to Finish. What about you? Which books did you include in your tops this week?
I’m digging your graphics! I haven’t read any of the books on your list (#shameonme) although another book from the author of the unexpected everything, Since You’ve Been Gone, is soon up on my tbr list ❤
Loved your top five! If you’re interested you can find mine by clicking on this link.

Lady Midnight ❤ ❤ ❤ I love that book so much. I finished in 3 days, but that's quite long for a Cassandra Clare book because I usually finishes them in one day (I have a lot of time on my hand. Perks of being unemployed and having no life -_-) haha

I know the feeling… I used to be unemployed and have all the time to read. Now I miss having the time to read. But hey, at least I have money to buy more books XD

Classics always seem to get me. I need to be in the right mood, or I just can’t get into them. I’m currently working on Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald– I’ve been reading it for two months and counting.
I also struggle with business books. I have to read a lot of them for work, but I’m not good about getting through them. It usually means I’m binge reading them in December before all my reviews are due to the boss. Oops!

Business books don’t look easy to read. Good luck with making progress in those, especially if you really need to read those

And you do need to read LM and TUE… I’m pretty sure I already said this about LM a few times 😛

You have… I might try and read LM this month! With the weather getting colder I’m getting more into fantasy anyway!

Wuthering Heights took me so long I’ve not actually finished it 😉 I had to read it for uni in second year but struggled and gave up… naughty me.
Lady Midnight was so good – i’m reliving it. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Oh, no…it’s “A Tale of Two Cities.” I read it in ninth grade for World History Class and it has pretty much held 1st place for my least favorite class ever. I like other works by Dickens, but that novel was painfully dull. I don’t remember how long it took me to read it, but I remember it was a chore.
