The NetGalley Book Tag

Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. The lovely Ari @ The Daydream Bookworm tagged me for The NetGalley Book Tag that was created by Kourtni @ Kourtni Reads. Seeing that I love NetGalley I knew right away that I had to this. NetGalley is just awesome. Thank you so much Ari for tagging me :D. If you haven’t visited her blog you should definitely go. Her blog is amazing especially if you need some New Adult recommendations. I learned a long time ago that I can always trust her when it comes to NA recommendations. Now let’s start with this post 😛 .

AUTO-APPROVED: Who’s one author whose books you automatically want to read, regardless of what they’re about?

Colleen Hoover without any doubt and Cassandra Clare. I don’t care what people say, I love their books and I’ll read them as soon as I get a chance. And in the case of Colleen Hoover I normally don’t know anything about the books. I just start them without even reading the blurbs. This is how much I love her books.

REQUEST: What makes you want to request a book that you see on NetGalley?

First I look at the covers. If a book has a good cover it has a good chance of me reading the blurb to see if I like what I read. If I do I’ll request it. I also read the blurbs to almost every new adult book that shows up at NetGalley because I love new adult and if I like it I also request those. There’s also some situations where I know the author and I know I love that author so I request the book without reading the blurb. I just know I need those books in my life XD.

FEEDBACK RATIO: Do you review every book you read? If not, how do you decide what books to review?

I try… sometimes it doesn’t happen. When I first started using NetGalley I requested a lot of books that I ended up not reading because a few months later I wasn’t interested anymore so I ended up sending feedback saying I wasn’t interested in those books and I hated to do that. Now I only request books I think I’ll actually read and I try to read all of them and on time (sometimes I fail in the time thing but I still read them XD).

BADGES: If you could create your own badge to display on your blog, what would it be for?

I think I would create something like “New Adult Advocate” because I love new adult and that’s the genre I request the most on NetGalley.

WISH FOR IT: What’s one book that you are absolutely dying to read?

From my NetGalley shelf I think two of the ones I’m most excited are The Homecoming by Stacie Ramey and All The Ways You Saved Me by Jamie Howard. Both are released on November 1st and I think I’ll love them. Also, you can’t imagine how happy I was last week when I got an email with the widget for All The Ways You Saved Me. I read one of Jamie Howard’s books a few months ago (also received from NetGalley) and loved it. Another book I’m quite excited it The Goal by Elle Kennedy. It’s not on NetGalley but I still need that book in my life.

2016 NETGALLEY CHALLENGE: What was the last book that you received as an ARC that you reviewed? If you’ve never received an ARC, what’s the last book you reviewed?

The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts. I got this one from Entangled (one of my favorite publishers out there) and reviewed it yesterday. It wasn’t the best book ever but it was entertaining (and look at that cover… it’s beautiful :D).
