Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by Lindsey @ APieceofParadis to The Bookish Book Lover Tag and being a book lover myself of course I had to do it. This tag was created by Shantelle @ Shantellemaryh. Thank you so much Lindsay for tagging me :D. Now let’s start with this post 😛 .
Rules:
- Use the original banner
- Answer the questions!
- Use lots of book covers
- Tag your friends
What books are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading The Summer That Melted Everything by Tiffany McDaniel. To be honest I’ve been reading it for almost a month and I really need to finish it soon. But I also plan to start The Deal by Elle Kennedy tonight and that will be interesting because I have the feeling I’ll love that book.
What’s the last book you finished?
I’ve finished two books yesterday. The first one was The Summer Before Forever by Melissa Chambers, that was a buddy read with Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions, and if you read my review you already know I loved it and that you should probably read it too. After finishing it I started and finished Gone Wild by Jodi Lundgren as a buddy read with Kat @ Life and Other Disasters and I still don’t know how I felt about that book.
Favorite book you read this year?
What kind of question is this??? This is like choosing a favorite kid… I think I have to say A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. If you read my review you know how much I loved that book. But to be honest, Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare is a close second. Both were amazing books.
What genre have you read most this year?
I’ve been reading a lot of new adult romances. Dont’ ask me why… I just love it and I’m pretty sure I’ll read a lot more new adult romances in the remaining of the year.
What genre have you read least this year?
I haven’t been reading a lot of fantasy and a lot of sci-fi for some reason. I really haven’t been in the mood to these genres and I’ve been reading way more contemporaries.
What genre do you want to read more of?
I really want to go back to fantasy. I think I’ll start soon when I finally get the time to read Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas.
How many books have you read this year, and what’s your goal?
My initial goal was to read 60 books but then I changed it to 80. Now I have a goal of 115 books and so far I’ve read 95 which means I might have to change my goal again…
What’s the last book you bought?
For a few moments I thought that the last book I bought had been Me Before You by Jojo Moyes in MAy but I actually bought Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell last month because I saw it on a shop and I only had the ebook. I loved Fangirl and I needed it on my bookshelf. I’m also planning on re-reading it soon so I had a reason to buy it XD.
What book are you saving up to buy next?
I really want either It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover or Heartless by Marissa Meyer so I’m saving for those two for sure.
How many books did you check out last library visit?
None. Here’s the thing, I live in Portugal and while I do have a library nearby they don’t have the books I normally read because most of them haven’t been released here. It would be great if there was a library nearby with the books I normally want to read.
What’s a book you can’t wait to read?
All of the ones below and more…
What’s a series you’d recommend to everyone?
This is not easy… Maybe The Lunar Chronicles??? I know a lot of people read it already but there’s also a lot of people who have yet to read it and it’s such an amazing series that everyone needs to read it.
Who’s an author you’re hoping writes more?
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it… ERIN MORGENSTERN. I need her to write more magical books like The Night Circus.
A few books your heart adores?
All of the books below and even more… I’m just trying to keep the list small and with only books I’ve read this year XD
What series’ coming conclusion makes you sad?
I actually thought that I didn’t have any series ending soon but I was wrong because A Million Worlds with You by Claudia Gray is coming up in November which means that the Firebird series is coming to an end and I’ll have to say goodbye to Theo. If Theo ends up dying for some reason in that book I will riot and I’ll make people riot with me (Kat, you’re invited to riot too if anything like this happens XD)
What books are on your wishlist?
All of the books in the world??? I’m joking… but the ones below are in my wishlist for sure:
Tag Time:
- Ashleigh @ A Frolic Through Fiction
- Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions
- Hannah @ Mortal Reader
- Inês @ MsCarrowl
- Jaed @ The Bibliophile Blogs
- Kat @ Life and Other Disasters
- Makayla @ Random Reads!
- Valerie @ Little Dutch Bookshop
Once again you don’t have to do this tag if you want to and if I haven’t tagged you and you want to do it just tell me in the comments that I’ll tag you :D.
I hope that Erin Morgenstern writes more too!!! Great tag post 🙂
