Book Traveling Thursdays #53 – Non-Fiction

Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover.

This weeks theme is Because we don’t always read fiction… choose your favorite non-fiction book. Here’s the thing, I don’t normally read no-fiction. I’ve read a few books but most of them don’t have that many different covers. But in the end I decided to choose Seriously… I’m Kidding by Ellen DeGeneres because I love Ellen and she’s amazing. So let’s see a few covers:

Original and Favorite Cover:

I really like this cover. I love how simple it is and the colors used. I look at this cover and even if it didn’t had a picture of Ellen I would think this was about her because the colors make me think of her show. Great cover. I love it.

Cover from my Country (Portugal):

I had no idea this book had been released here. I never saw this in a bookstore. Where are these books?? But lets talk about the cover. I really like that they decided to use the original cover. I like this cover and good thing they didn’t ruin everything like they love to do in here… I just want more decent covers in Portugal.

Least Favorite Cover:

This is the cover from Hungary and while I don’t hate it it’s still not my favorite. I don’t like it as much as the original one and I don’t like the picture they choose for this cover. It also makes me think of a magazine for some reason.
