T5W – Favorite First Sentences

It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey and hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This week theme is Favorite First Sentences. Here’s the thing, I’m bad with first sentences. I never remember any and that made this task a little bit harder this week. I doesn’t help that I read mainly ebooks and don’t have most of my physical books next to me. I have a few and at least 3 of these first sentences are from books that I have next to me because I had to look around to find sentences for this post :P. That doesn’t mean that I don’t love all of these first sentences. I still think that these are amazing and a great way to start a book and caught the reader’s attention. But anyway, here are some of my favorite first sentences.
