T5W – Authors I’m Waiting on Another Book From

It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey and hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes. This week theme is Authors You Are Waiting on Another Book From. There are few authors that I want another book from but most of them have already announced a new book or something like that (like Becky Albertalli and Michelle Hodkin) but for this post I only wanted to talk about authors that I don’t know when (or even if) are going to release a new book. So here are my picks for this week.

1. Erin Morgenstern

The Night Circus has been published in 2011. It’s 2016 and Erin Morgenstern has yet to release another novel. I loved The Night Circus and I would love to read another book written by her because I know she can create amazing and magical worlds. I just need a new Erin Morgenstern book. It could even be a companion to The Night Circus… I would love that.

2. Stephanie Perkins

Technically Stephanie Perkins is going to release a new book next year and she has been releasing the anthologies she edits but I need another cute contemporary written by her. I know her new book won’t be anything like that so I’m going to be here waiting for a new cute contemporary… or maybe something about the characters from Anna and the French Kiss. I would read some kind of epilogue about those characters.

3. Jasmine Warga

I loved My Heart and Other Black Holes. It was an amazing debut novel and Jasmine Warga did a great job writing it so obviously I want more books written by her and I’m here waiting for that to happen.

4. L.E. Bross

L. E. Bross wrote some of my favorite new adult novels and while she released a book recently it wasn’t new adult and I really want her to write more NA, especially because there’s a character in her new adult series that could still have a book. I really want that book okay?? I also want Ryan back in my life so I would read anything she writes just to see if he appears anywhere XD.

5. Elizabeth O’Roark

If you read my review for Waking Olivia you might know that I loved everything about that book. That’s why I need Elizabeth O’Roark to write more books. I just need her books and characters in my life and if those books are as good as Waking Olivia I know I’ll love it.
