Once again this was a buddy read with Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions so click HERE to read her thoughts about this book :).

As I already said before I normally love Entangled: Crush books. These books are full of cuteness and adorable so it’s impossible not to love it. This one wasn’t different but it was a little harder to get into the story.

I did like the characters from this book but I have to admit that my biggest problem in the beginning was the main character, Mandy. Mandy has ADHD and dysgraphia and while I loved that both these things were included I have to say that the ADHD was also the main reason why I didn’t like her right away. Let me explain, my problem was not that she had ADHD, my problem was that Mandy was a little bit too energetic and her thoughts were all over the place in the beginning. However, as soon as I got used to Mandy and her personality everything got better. I didn’t love Caleb from the beginning too but he grew on me and in the end I loved him. I loved to see that he was a good guy even when everyone thought he was a bad guy. I really loved to learn more about him and to know why he didn’t want to get close to other people. Want to know who I really loved? Mandy best-friends, Cammie and J.T. I loved especially J.T. I really liked to see how much they helped her and supported her and how they tried to help her when she was doing something stupid but couldn’t understand how stupid it was. I also liked how in the end they also became friends with Caleb and how much they liked him.

Once again this book started with a fake-relationship and once again I loved it. I’m sorry, you can tell whatever you want about fake-relationships. You can tell me it is unrealistic (it’s true, I know) but I still love it and I’m a sucker for fake-relationships. I love to see how the main characters start to get to know each other and how their relationship develops. That’s why this was one of my favorite things in this books. I really loved to see Mandy and Caleb together. They were great together and I loved it… I just didn’t love when Caleb was sad because Mandy couldn’t see what was right in front of her eyes and because she couldn’t see that she shouldn’t trust in a few people.

Another thing I liked was the writing. This book was fast-paced and once again I loved that the author included a dual POV and that she did it in a way that both Mandy and Caleb had distinct voices. I always like when this happens when the book has a dual POV.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. I really liked the story and the inclusion of some things that normally are not talked about like ADHD and dysgraphia. I completely recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a cute young adult contemporary. But please, if you’re having problems in the beginning don’t stop reading it. I can promise you that it will get better and the books will end up being amazing.
