T5W – Books I Wish Had Sequels

t5w new header

It’s that time of the week again when I bring you the Top 5 Wednesdays, created by gingerreadslainey and hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This week theme is Books You Wish Had SequelsThese books could be standalone or series and I ended up getting a mix of the two because there are few books that left me wanting more.  Here are my picks for this week:

sequels I want

Every Day by David Levithan

I know that this book has a companion book, Another Day. I read that book and it wasn’t my favorite thing in the world. What I really want is a sequel and not the story from Every Day in another POV. The end of Every Day leaves an opening to a sequel and I need that sequel. Please David Levithan, a lot of us are waiting for that book.

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell

Technically every Rainbow Rowell book could have a sequel (or even a prequel if we’re talking about Carry On) but the one I really need is a sequel for Eleanor & Park. I just need to know how they are, if they’re happy and what’s been going on with their lives. I also need to see them together again.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon

How do I talk about this without spoiling anything? Everything, Everything ended with a lot of things left open. This is one of that books that keeps having stories to tell and I need to know what happened after the bookstore scene. I also need more Maddy and Olly in my life.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

Is this even a surprise to anyone??  I’ve been talking way too much about this book. Maybe is time for a re-read. I’m not telling that I need a sequel about Celia and Marco because I don’t. I need something in the same world and with some of the side characters, maybe about the twins and Bailey. Basically I need more about Le Cirque des Rêves. I also want a prequel about Tsukiko. Let’s be honest, I would read anything by Erin Morgenstern.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

This is the only series I knew I needed a sequel or some kind of short story. I need to know how everyone in the series is, where are they, if they are happy. I need to know and I need it now. I also miss all the characters and I would read anything about them.

These are some Books I Wish Had Sequels. What about you? What books would you include in your top? 😀

  2. Omg yes even a short story about how the Anna and the French Kiss gang would be great. Preferably set at a certain wedding 😛 And I definitely need an E&P sequel. Like right now thank you please. I remember reading the ending years ago and checking if there weren’t more pages haha

    • I need that certain wedding too because I’m sure it will be the cutest wedding in the story of weddings XD
Hahaha. When I finished I was like: Is this the end?? No it can’t be… I was kind of sad
