Hi guys! As you might have seen yesterday I did my Spring Reads Wrap-Up so today I decided to talk to you about the books I want to read during the Summer. Just like Spring, Summer is a time of the year where I read mostly contemporary books so most of these are going to be contemporary. The books I’m going to show you today are some of the books that I want to read in the next couple of months. I don’t know if its going to happen or not but I’m going to try to read them and this time I actually own and have ARCs for these books so I don’t have any excuse to not read them. So here’s some of the books I want to read this spring.
1. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
Technically I’m cheating with this one because I’m already reading it but I think I have to include this one on my Summer Reads because this book is so Summer-y. I love the two Morgan Matson books I’ve read so far so I hope this one isn’t different.
2. Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
After The Unexpected Everything this is the only Morgan Matson book I have to read so I’m planning on reading it this Summer. I keep hearing amazing things about this one so I’m really excited to read it. Sometimes I need to be thankful for the Kindle Deals that allowed me to get this book for a really cheap price.
3. Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman
This is another book I got from the Kindle Deals and I was so happy I saw this one there. First of all, just look at the book name. I already know that this one will be adorable and I love adorable things. Also, Cristina @My Tiny Obsessions read this book a few weeks ago and loved it. I trust her opinion and that we normally love the same books so I’m almost sure I’ll love this one.
4. The Replacement Crush by Lisa Brown Roberts
I got an ARC for this one and it looks really cute so I plan on reading it this Summer and I hope I’ll love it too.
5. In the Hope of Memories by Olivia Rivers
I saw this one on NetGalley a few weeks ago and I knew that Kat @Life and Other Disasters loved it so I had to request it. Let’s see if I can read this one soon. One thing is for sure, I’ll read it this Summer.
6. Life After Juliet by Shannon Lee Alexander
This is another ARC I got that looks pretty cool and it’s released during Summer so I’ll read it in the next few weeks.
7. Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J. Maas
Do you know when did I finish Crown of Midnight?? In January 2015. It’s been a year and a half and I didn’t continue this series because I don’t want to accept that Chaoleana ended. However it’s time for me to accept it a finally read Heir of Fire and that will happen soon because I just got the book. Also, I’m pretty sure I’ll love it so I need to read it.
8. Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas
I think it’s obvious that after Heir of Fire I will have to read Queen of Shadows. Good thing I got the book the same day I got HoF.
9. The Possibility of Somewhere by Julia Day
I just got this ARC and it looks so good that I need to read it. This one only comes out on the beginning of September so it will be one of the last books in this TBR that I’ll read but I’m super excited about it.
10. Six Month Rule (Kingston Ale House #2) by A.J. Pine
The first book of this series was actually on my Spring Reads TBR and I loved the book so of course I have to read the second one. This book will also come out during Summer so I’m planning on reading it pretty soon.
This are some of the books I really want to read in the next couple of months. What about you?? Which books are in your Summer TBR??
Reblogged this on forthenovellovers.

I need to read Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows this summer too! Other than that, I also want to read Winter by Marissa Meyer to finish The Lunar Chronicles 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy all the books on your summer tbr!

Yes! You have to catch up on the Throne of Glass series. It takes such an interesting turn in the books after Chaol and Celaena call it quits. I hope you update us on it. I would love to see your reaction to both Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows.

I’ll keep you updated. I’ll have reviews for both here as soon as I finish them and I might do some updates on my Goodreads too 🙂

I read both The Replacement Crush and The Hope of Memories via Netgalley earlier this year. The former was so much fun and perfect for the summer! While I didn’t love The Hope of Memories, I was very much in the minority. Hope you like all your picks!

YAY! to so many of those, even ones that I haven’t read yet. One day I will jump on the Throne of Glass train as well 😉

And when you do I hope you love the books. But it’s Sarah J. Maas, you’ll probably love them 😀

I have The Hidden Oracle, A Gathering of Shadows on my TBR for Summer. I am currently enjoying my time reading Just One Day by Gayle Forman. It is an amazing book. If I Stay went a little meh for me. I would recommend this book to you, if you haven’t read it already. ❤
Second Chance Summer is a really emotional book. The story gets better along the way. The characters grow and fight their fears. You'll love it. I have yet to read from Morgan Matson. She's a wonderful author. Personally, YA Contemporary isn't my thing and I haven't found many appreciable reads or authors for the matter. But, I loved Second Chance Summer.
Have a Wonderful Summer Catia.
College life has definitely taken a toll on this blogging life.

I already read Just One Day and Just One Year and I loved both. I think I loved it more than If I Stay and Where She Went for sure.
Morgan Matson is amazing. You should read her other books. They are not as emotional as Second Chance Summer (from what I’ve been hearing) but they are great especially for Summer.
College is always like that. Always taking all the free time people need 😦

I am so glad you’ve enjoyed Just One Year as well. I am going to read it sometime sooner.
I will definitely check out her other books.
Thanks for the recommendation.
Also, College really needs to give me more time for reading.

I hope you like her other books 😀
It’s college. It takes all the free time. It’s even worse when it’s either the first or last year of college

I’m still bitter about Chaolaena tbh, I loved them

I’m the same. I’m hoping that reading HoF will help me with accepting that Chaoleana ended for good

It helped me. I realized that despite Chaol being perfect for Celaena (and I’ll always ship them) she’s Aelin now and Aelin belongs with Rowan

I keep hearing that. It’s over because there’s no Celeana now and Aelin is not someone that would be good for Chaol or someone that he would love

Celaena and Aelin are different but Aelin is still someone he loves, just not a good romantically after everything that has happened.

The Unexpected Everything and Second Chance Summer are the only two Morgan Matson books I have left to read, too! I also would like to read Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows, but that means I also have to read Throne of Glass. I love ACOTAR and ACOMAF so I’m really wanting to read the whole series.

Those are the only two I have left too. Technically I have one and a half left because I’m halfway through The Unexpected Everything 😛
