Hi guys! After months saying that I wouldn’t be doing TBR’s I decided to try to follow a list of books I want to read this month. I’ve been having a lot of buddy reads and I have a few ARC’s I need to read (especially because I’m trying to get my NetGalley ratio to 80%) so I think I might be able to follow my TBR this month and that’s why I decided to do this post today. If I do follow my TBR this month I might start doing one every month but I can’t promise anything. But let’s stop talking about random things. Here’s my May TBR:
- Say Something… by T.A. Roth – I got this one from NetGalley this month and I’m currently reading it as a buddy read with Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions
- Saven Disclosure (Saven #2) by Siobhan Davis – The author sent me a copy of this one and I already read the first book so I’m planning on reading this one pretty soon.
- The Rule Book by Jennifer Blackwood – Another book I got from NetGalley. This one will be released this month so I’m going to be reading it pretty soon. This will also be another of my buddy reads with Cristina.
- Summer of Supernovas by Darcy Woods – Another one I got from NetGalley. This one will also be released pretty soon so I need to read it in the next couple of weeks.
- Winging It (Corrigan Falls Raiders #3) by Cate Cameron – I read the second book of this series a couple of months ago so I requested this from NetGalley and I’ll be reading it before the release date. This will be read with Cristina too.
- Lessons of the Heart by Jodie Larson – This is another book I got from NetGalley that I’ll be reading with Cristina.
- Please, Pretty Lights by Ina Zajac – Also from NetGalley. I requested this one a couple of months ago and I think it’s time to finally read it.
- Tell the Wind and the Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan – This was an ARC I had for last month that I didn’t get around to read so I hope I can read it this month.
- November 9 by Colleen Hoover – I won this book in Analee’s giveaway last month and I can’t wait to finally read it. Everyone knows how much I love Colleen Hoover. Thanks you Analee for giving me the opportunity to have this book 😀
- Ten Thousand Skies Above You (Firebird #2) by Claudia Gray – I read the first book in this series a long time ago and it’s finally time to read the second book. I really hope I can read this one this month.
- Me Before You by Jojo Moyes – I have the audiobook for this one and I’ll be reading it (technically listening to it) Cristina and Kat @ Life and Other Disasters. I think this will be the perfect book for a buddy read because I’m pretty sure we’ll need a lot of emotional support for this one.
- The Year We Fell Down (The Ivy Years #1) by Sarina Bowen – I know that Cristina really wants to read this one soon and she’s been waiting for me to read it so I think we’ll try to read it this month.
These are some of the books I’m planning on reading during the month of May. I’ll probably read other books too but I still don’t know which ones yet. We’ll see what I’ll end up reading on my May Wrap-up.
What about you? Which books are you planning on reading in May.
I get why you didn’t want to do a TBR. They can put such a pressure on you, but I only see them as a guideline anyway. If I feel like reading something else, or simply don’t get to all of them, then I won’t be sad.

I won’t be sad. I know I probably won’t read all of the books and I’m okay with that. I’m not good with TBRs and I’ve accapted it XD

I am not that good with them either. Splintered has been on it for 3 months now hahaha and I just ignore S. Which I need to read because my cousin is getting impatient with me.

You’ll end up reading both. Your cousin needs to wait. S is not a book you can read at once.

Exactly! I told her she’d get it next Christmas, because she gave it to me on Christmas XD there is still plenty of time until then.

Tantos livros!

Ten Thousand Skies Above You was amazing! I read it last month and I’m dying for the third book!
I also got Summer of Supernovas from NetGalley and I started it yesterday. It’s really funny and entertaining so far

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Me Before You. I’m kind of over the whole three books about the same people, but may be willing to give it a go. And I LOVE Emilia Clark, who will be in the movie. Mother of Dragons and all….

I’ll probably have a review after I read it so I’ll share my thoughts right after I finish it 😀

I struggle with the idea of TBRs. It’s as though as soon as I decide on a TBR I instantly lose some interest in reading those named books. I’m trying to be better though and I too have a stack of books I need to get through this month because they’re library books I’ve had on loan for so long that it’s getting a little embarrassing. So I’m trying the TBR thing this month too – and I hope it works out for you too. 🙂
I also want to read Ten Thousand Skies Above You soon. I read the first book earlier this year but I kind of want to re-read it before jumping into the sequel so it might be June by the time I get round to it. I hope you like it if you get to it this month!

So many buddy reads happening for you (to which I’m envious because I can never properly participate because I feel like I’m either too slow or need to read all of the book if it’s good LOL). Hope you enjoy all the fun discussions I’m sure you’ll have with Kat and Cristina!

I know I will enjoy. I already did a lot of buddy reads with Cristina and it’s always funny. And I talk with both of them almost every day discussing other things so it will be fun discussing books too 😀

Good luck with your TBR! I never used to have set TBRs, but I’ve started to try them out to see how I go. I mostly just have them as a rough guideline.

I think I’ll have this one just as a guideline too. Let’s see if it works out or not XD

Ooh, Colleen Hoover. So far I’ve read Maybe Someday and Ugly Love and loved them both so I definitely wanna read more CoHo soon.
For me, my TBR is a constant surprise, I have no idea what I’m gonna pick up next. My plan was to read All Quiet on the Western Front, and I did start, but then I borrowed a Dickens’s biography from library so now I’m reading that and loving it, so now I just feel like reading more Dickens + his biographies, haha.

You can read Too Late in Wattpad for free if you want to read more Colleen Hoover. But it’s nothing like her other books and way more darker.
My TBR is also a surprise most of the times but with so many buddy reads and some ARC’s I know I’ll have to read at least those books.

Great TBR! Saven Disclosure is a great read and I hope you enjoy it when you get to it. Tell The Wind And Fire is a huge disappointment for me but I hope you like it. Lessons Of the heart is already in my TBR so I’ll look forward to your thoughts on it.
Happy Reading! 😀
