Goodreads Synopsis:

Paralyzed by the past and terrified of the future, Tabitha Kelly is broken.

After a public sex scandal at her college, Tabby moves to a new city with a new school, convinced she can start over. But she soon realizes the changes are not enough. Tabby must take action to help her heal and move on from the past.
And though it sounds crazy, she believes a one-night stand is the best way to take back what’s hers. If she can choose where, when, and most importantly, who … maybe she can regain control.
First, she needs a willing participant.

She finds more than that when she meets Noah Adler.

Unfortunately, she can’t go through with it. And when she tries to forget about the plan—and the guy—it becomes impossible.

Noah quickly weaves his way into her new life and her heart. But as he comes dangerously close to discovering her secret, Tabby’s at risk of losing it all.

Review:

I started this book as an impulse without knowing what I should expect from it but I’m so happy I liked it so much. I only put this book down once because I was really tired and had to go to sleep. If it wasn’t for that I would have read it in one go because this was one of that books really difficult to put down.

I really liked Tabby and Noah as characters. When we meet Tabby, who once had it all, we can see she’s broken. We don’t know for sure what happened to her and what she went through but we can see how bad it left her. Because of everything that happened Tabby only focus in one thing, college. This is until she meets Noah. I loved to see these two together and how they helped each other in their problems. Because this books has a span of a few months it’s possible to see how much they change with each other help, especially Tabitha. But Tabby and Noah are not the only amazing characters in this book. I loved to see how Tabby’s friendship with Jules grew and how Jules was also able to help Tabitha. Another characters I really enjoyed were Tabby’s dad and stepmother. The way they supported her and helped her too was amazing a great to see. My only problem with this book is that I’m getting way to used to dual POV in New Adult books and I really wanted to be able to know how everything happened also in Noah’s voice.

Overall, this was a really good New Adult book. Clare James did a great job on creating this story and these characters and I can’t wait some of her other books, starting in Jules and Foster story. If you like New Adult romances you should give this one a try.
