Hi guys! Spring just started a few days ago and because of that today I decided to talk to you about the books I want to read during the spring. Spring, like Summer, is a time of the year where I read mostly contemporary books so most of these are going to be contemporary. Actually, I’ve been reading mostly contemporary books recently so I can’t blame Spring and Summer for that. The books I’m going to show you today are some of the books that I want to read in the next couple of months. I don’t know if its going to happen or not but I’m going to try to read them. So here’s some of the books I want to read this spring.
1. Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare
Yes, I haven’t read Lady Midnight yet. Blame Book Depository because I pre-ordered this book and it’s still not here and I can’t barely wait to read it. But I’ve been a good girl and I was able to avoid every single spoiler about it. Let’s just keep being this way until I finally read it (soon).
2. A Court of Mist and Fury (A Court of Thorns and Roses #2) by Sarah J. Maas
This book wasn’t released yet but it comes out on May 3rd and I can’t wait to have it on my hands. I miss Tamlin and Lucien and I need to know what’s going to happen in the next book.
3. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
This is another one that has to be released (it comes out on May 3rd too) but I loved the two Morgan Matson books I’ve read so far and I can’t to read this one and love it. Also, the blurb looks good and I really wanted to see what is really about.
4. November 9 by Colleen Hoover
This is one of the only Colleen Hoover books I still have to read (I also have the two last books from Slammed) so I really hope it happens soon because I want to know what this is all about. Also, it has amazing reviews on Goodreads even if I saw a few not so good reviews too.
5. When We Collided by Emery Lord
I never read anything by Emery Lord but I wanted for a long time. Maybe I’ll start with this one. I really want to. And look at that cover, it’s gorgeous and that another reason for me to want to read it.
6. The One That Got Away (The Kingston Ale House Series #1) by A.J. Pine
I read the blurb for this book a few weeks ago and it seemed pretty interesting. Also, it had a road trip and I need a book with a road trip for my Popsugar Reading Challenge so this book is perfect for that. I actually got an ARC from Entangled so it’s on my plans to read this one soon.
7. Catch You (Love Me, I’m Famous #0.5) by M.H. Soars
Technically this one is a novella but I really want to read it and it helps that I have an eARC for it. I read the first book from the series and while it wasn’t one of my favorite books ever I still enjoyed it. Because of that I want to read the rest of the series and the novellas.
8. Undecided by Julianna Keyes
I also have an eARC for this one and I really want to read it soon. Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions loved it and she said that I should read it. Because I trust her opinions on books (and because we love mostly the same books) I’m really excited about this one and I can’t wait to read.
9. The Year We Fell Down (The Ivy Years #1) by Sarina Bowen
I got this one for free from the Kindle store a few days ago and I really want to read it. It looks so good. This book new adult and it deals with sports so what’s not to love about it?? Also, it has good reviews so I’m really excited to know what’s the deal with it 😀
10. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes
I’m going to be honest here, I wasn’t interested in this book until I saw the trailer and cried like a little baby. Also, everyone who has read this book keeps saying wonders about it. Now I want to read it and, if possible, before the movie comes out.
This are some of the books I really want to read in the next couple of months. What about you?? Which books are in your spring TBR??
I’m almost done with Me before You and I love it !

Yeah, no bookworm can keep to only 10 books in a whole season 🙂

You’ve got a great TBR! The only reason Lady Modnight isn’t on my TBR is because I haven’t finished TID or TMI yet! 😅 I just did a post about my spring TBR, and A Court of Mist and Fury was on there too along with The Unexpected Anything. I really want to read Me Before You before the movie comes out! Great post 😊

I really enjoyed reading The Year We Fell Down. I’m not big on sports but it was really inspirational and interesting! I’m so excited for the Me Before You movie (Sam Claflin!) and I’m in the middle of the book. So far it’s great, can’t wait t hear what you think about it 😀

I find it so interesting how a lot of people want to read contemporary books in the summer time! I’ve never had a preference for particular genres during different seasons but I like that other people do!
I really want to read some Morgan Matson and Colleen Hoover as I haven’t really read any of their books!
I’m also definitely going to be reading Me Before You before the movie comes out, I’m not quite sure I’m emotionally prepared though!

I really like Morgan Matson and Colleen Hoover so I hope I really like their books too. I think I’m not ready for Me Before You too. The trailer made me cry already so the book will be worse
