Book Traveling Thursdays #28 – Share the Love!!

Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book relaMy Sitested to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover. This weeks theme is Share the Love!! Choose a underhyped book that you think everyone should read. I know a lot of you might know the author I choose today. I decided to have a book from Colleen Hoover because I think this book doesn’t have as much love as the others and for me it’s one of my favorite Colleen Hoover books. The book I decided to choose for today is Slammed.

Original Cover:

Let’s be honest here. The original cover is a little bit weird and I don’t like it at all. But we have to think that this book was originally self-published and that probably Colleen Hoover didn’t have a profession designer for the cover. The cover from the re-edition is a little bit better but still not one of my favorites.

Covers from my Country (Portugal):

Unfortunately this book has yet to be released in Portugal, at least that I know. At least we already have a few Colleen Hoover books here.

Favorite Covers:

I really like the UK cover and how simple it is. I also love the german cover because of the colors, even if it makes me think of Confess. The cover from Indonesia is also pretty but I would probably change the color. I think it would be better if it had another color instead of the red.

Least Favorite Covers:

As I said before I really didn’t like the original cover. I also don’t like the italian cover at all. It doesn’t make me think about this book in particular and it’s also a little bit weird.
