The FRIENDS Book Tag

friends book tag
Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions to The Friends Book Tag so thank you Cristina for tagging me 🙂 . I actually watched the show about two years ago and I loved it so why not answering this today? So let’s see my picks for this tag 🙂

The One where Eddie Won’t Go – a character I wish would just go away:

Confess

This one was quite difficult to find an answer but after thinking about it I would love if Trey would go away in Confess because I hated him from the beginning of the book.

The One where Ross and Rachel Take a Break – favorite break up scene:

Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2)

I can’t remember exactly when this happened but I loved when Juliette and Adam (Shatter Me) broke up because at that point Adam was already getting in my nerves and I wasn’t liking him as much as before.

The One with all the Kissing – a book with lots of kissing:

Hopeless (Hopeless, #1)

Hopeless without any doubt. It took a long time to the first kiss to happen but after that I was happy almost every time Sky and Holder were together (almost is the key word here. This book had a lot of heartbreaking moments too)

The Last One – favorite series finale:

Winter (The Lunar Chronicles, #4)

I wanted to say Clockwork Princess but because this was Cristina’s answer (and I’m planning on stealing another of her answers) I have to say Winter. That book was a rollercoaster and full of emotions.

The One with a Blackout – a scene I’d like to forget:

Father Unknown

I can’t remember any scene from a book I’ve read recently but there’s this book I read years ago that has a really weird scene that I would love to forget. The scene is from Father Unknown by Lesley Pearse and it still traumatized me a little bit even if I read it years ago.

The One where Chandler can’t Cry – a book that did not make you as emotional as others:

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

This is where I steal Cristina’s answer and say Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. I was expecting a lot from this book and a lot of people love it but it wasn’t a book for me and I really didn’t like it and didn’t make me emotional. The movie is a completely different story because I cried like a baby in the end.

The One where Joey doesn’t Share Food – a book you won’t ever lend:

Illuminae (The Illuminae Files, #1)

I normally don’t lend my books but if I had to choose one I have to say Illuminae. I still haven’t read this book but it’s gorgeous and I would never lend it to anyone because I’m afraid someone would ruin it.

The One with the Thumb – a recent read that you would give two thumbs up to:

Crossing the Ice

I recently finished Crossing the Ice by Jennifer Comeaux  and I absolutely loved that book. It was everything I needed at that time.

The One with the Ick Factor – a book with a pet peeve:

Now and Again by Jennifer Ellision

I really can’t think about anything right now but I recently read Now and Again and it really got to my nerves that the main character was a b*tch to everyone who loved her and everyone was okay with her anyway. No, that shouldn’t have happened. She left everyone for years for no valid reason and everyone was okay with her, even the guy that she treated like garbage.

The One with the Lesbian Wedding – favorite LGBTQ book couple:

Once again I don’t want to steal Cristina’s answer so I have to say Alec and Magnus. Those two are perfect together and I always loved them but the show only infatuated my feelings for them even more.

These are my picks for The Friends Book Tag. What about you? Which books would you choose?

  1. Perfect choice on the Malec gif! And YES to the Adam and Juliette break up! Did you have a tough time thinking about one? We (meaning me and some other bloggers) have discovered that it’s really difficult to think of a break-up scene in YA books where they permanently split up.

  2. I totally agree with you on Adam and Juliette Break-up. I haven’t read Winter yet but I’m pretty excited to read it. You must read Illuminae! It’s really an amazing book and I hope you enjoy it when you get to it. Anyway, thanks for tagging me! 😀

  3. i love that Malec gift. 😀 I read that the finger and the smile weren’t scripted, it was improvised by the both of them… how cool is that? yep, Illuminae won’t ever leave my sight either. *my precious*
And OMG! that first best kiss in the history of kisses, where no kissing actually happened, was so good… and all the actual kisses too… yep yep yep… loads of kissing and I’m not complaining about it one bit.

  5. Great Post – There’s a bunch of books I have still yet to read on your list such as Illuminae and the Shatter Me series. I love the Malec Gif, definitely my favourite LGBTQ Couple, I want to go watch Shadowhunters now and catch up on the episodes I’ve missed.

      • Yes! That is exactly what I thought, the first episode was a bit hit or miss because I felt it was a little choppy but as it progressed to include Magnus I began to enjoy it more. Definitely need to watch it when I finish Uni today! 🙂
