The Book Love Tag!

Hi guys! Today I’m back with another tag. I was tagged by Anette @ Anette Reads to The Book Love Tag so thank you Anette for tagging me 🙂 . This tag was also created by Anette and because it’s almost Valentine’s Day and it looked really fun to do that I decided to answer to this tag today. So let’s see my picks for this tag 🙂

1. Your favorite book couple.

I have a lot of favorite book couples as you can see here but for the sake of this post I’ll choose Will Herondale and Tessa Gray. I love them and they are great together.

2. Your top 3 book boy/girlfriends.

Why do I have to choose??? I always have problems to choose book boyfriends. I think I’ll have to go with the obvious choices and pick Will Herondale (The Infernal Devices) , Captain Thorne (The Lunar Chronicles)  and Warner (Shatter Me). Normally I always pick one of them 😛

3. Imagine your favorite book couple. Who would propose, and how? (If there’s already been a proposal: who would be more into organizing the wedding?)

Will proposed in the book right?? I’m not sure but assuming that he did I think that Tessa would be more into organizing the wedding, maybe with a little bit of help from Magnus. Everyone knows that Magnus parties are always a blast XD

4. Unpopular opinions time! Name a popular pairing you can’t stand.

I can’t think of anyone. The only couple that comes to my mind is Juliette and Adam from Shatter Me but I’m pretty sure most of the people don’t like it too.

5. What’s your favorite and least favorite romance trope?

I really like the “girl and brother’s best friend” thing and also the “childhood best friends fall in love”. I really like these two and I would love to read more novels that features this tropes.

I don’t have a clear least favorite unless I can include “love triangle”. Right now I can’t deal with love triangles. Another thing I hate is one persons in the couple is a complete a**hole to the other person but the other person still loves him/her. This happened in a book I finished this week and I hated that relationship.

6. Do you ship non-canon couples often? Name some if you do.

I have to steal Anette’s answer. I love Destiel 😀

7. Your opinion on love triangles. Go!

As I said above right now I can’t deal with love triangles. I used to love love triangles but then everyone started doing the same and I’m tired of love triangles. However, if it’s a really well written love triangle (*cough* The Infernal Devices *cough*) I’ll love it.

8. Favorite and least favorite love triangle?

As I said before, I loved the love triangle in The Infernal Devices because it was different and the guys weren’t trying to kill each other or make each other look bad.

For my least favorite love triangle I have to say Maxon/America/Aspen from The Selection. Everyone knows that Aspen doesn’t stand a chance against Maxon but America keeps being indecisive and it gets to my nerves. That’s the reason why I haven’t read The One yet. I can’t deal with America being all “oh I love Maxon” in one chapter and the other being like “I love Aspen. What should I do?”. Nope. I hate this. If you have read the books you should see the videos Epic Reads has for The Selection. They did the videos to promote the books but it definitely shows everything I talked about.

9. Sometimes romance just isn’t the way to go. Favorite friendship?

If I have to say a friendship between a girl and a boy I think that I have to choose Juliette and Kenji from Shatter Me mostly because Kenji is an amazing friend and I need a Kenji in my life 😛 . Also, I love Thorne and Cinder’s friendship. It seems like a kind of brother/sister relationship and it’s pretty funny (also, thank you Cristina for remember me about them. How could I forget Thorne?? XD)

10. What’s your favorite scene with your bookish OTP?

I could say it was the scene in Cadair Idris that happened in Clockwork Princess but I really like a scene that happened in a party. I think it was in the Lightwoods ball but I’m not sure. I’ve read these books almost two years ago so it’s okay if I forget the details XD

11. Imagine your favorite book couple again. Who’s most excited about Valentine’s Day (either ironically or genuinely)?

I don’t know. I can’t imagine either o them excited about Valentine’s Day but if I had to say someone who would be ironically excited for it would be Will. Yeah, I think it would be him.
