Today is thursday which means that is Book Traveling Thursdays, a weekly meme created by me and Danielle @ Danielle’s Book Blog. This weekly meme consists in picking a book related to the weekly theme that is announced in the group Goodreads page (if you want to join click here) at the beginning of each month. After that you can write a blog post where you explain why you choose that book and choose different covers from different countries. To make it a little bit easy you are going to choose different editions of the original cover, the cover from your country, your favorite cover, and your least favorite cover. This weeks theme is Everyone loves movies… Choose a movie that is going to be adapted in 2016. I decided to choose a book that I haven’t read yet but that I want to read before the movie comes out. The book for this week is Me Before You by Jojo Moyes so let’s go see some covers.
Original Covers:
I really like these covers but my favorite one is the first one with the pastel colors. I think it’s a really cute cover and it’s something that I would buy. The second cover is not as beautiful as the first one but I still like it.
Covers from my Country (Portugal):
Let’s be honest, anyone who lives in Portugal knows that normally the covers are just like this. The covers here always this aspect with the girl going somewhere. It’s not a bad cover but it’s not one of my favorites.
Favorite Covers:
I really like these two covers. I think it’s because of the colors but I really like these. I can’t tell you if the cover has anything to do with the plot because as I said before I haven’t read this book yet but I think that these are really beautiful.
Least Favorite Covers:
My problem with these covers is the colors. I really don’t like it. My least favorite from these three is the cover from Slovenia. I don’t understand why someone would do a cover like that one.
So this is it, this week Book Traveling Thursdays. What did you think of these covers? Tell me in the comments 🙂
I love the original one that you like too, and that’s the one I own :D. but i also like the one from the netherlands, the greenish one 😀 I like green

I don’t like green that much, especially that green 😛

Great Choice! I agree with your least favorite covers. I know I haven’t read this book yet…but from what I’ve heard about it, those covers don’t really match the essence of the story. Especially the cover from Finland.
Book Traveling Thursday! 🙂

To be honest, all these covers are pretty nice considering how horrible some covers on books can be, especially the different variations in countries. My favourite is the United Kingdom one and my least favourite is the Netherlands one – I just think it’s quite boring!

I agree. This book didn’t have really ugly covers like every book I’ve shown until today. It has quite decent covers. I had a really difficult time in chosing my least favorite covers for this one 🙂

Yeah! Even the least favourite ones aren’t that bad!

I love the original red one as it’s the one that is making me want to read the story. I think it’s the big font.

I understand why. I really like covers with big fonts 😀

I like the original ones. Why don’t they stick with the one original cover? The other covers are mostly bad.
