Hi guys! Today I’m here to talk about the books I want to read in 2016. I already talked about some books I want to read that are going to be released in 2016 (here) but today I decided to talk about the books that were released before 2016. Here’s the list of books I really want to read this year 🙂
Okay, technically I’m already reading Winter so I know that I’ll read this book in 2016. I also know that I’ll read Carry On and Illuminae soon because my copies should get here soon. The other books I really want to read this year so let’s see how it goes. By now everyone should know how bad I am with keeping this lists and having TBR’s. What about you? Which books do you want to read in 2016? Share your thoughts in the comments section 🙂 .
Carry On is at the top of my TBR pile too!

Mine too. I just need my order to get here (and finish Winter), something that was supposed to happen today

I’ve got Ava Lavender on my TTT this week too. I’ve been dying to read it for so long. The Shock of the Fall is interesting too, but I haven’t decided if I’m going to read it yet.

I have both in my bookshelf and I just want to read it. Everyone keeps saying amazing things about these books so I really hope to read them soon 🙂

Carry On, Winter and Heir of Fire are absolutely incredible!!! Have fun!

I’m already having fun with Winter and I’m only 100 pages in. Ohhh the cuteness between that couples

The cuteness is definitely real.

Some really great book choices there. Seen soo much about the Red Rising series. Maybe i might give it a try and see if i like it.

I really liked Red Rising. In the beginning is alittle be hard to understand the world and it becomes a little bit slow but once you’re into the story it becomes a really great book. I hope that Golden Son is a little bit easier because I’m already used to the world building 🙂

I am really looking forward to see what you think of The Shock of The Fall. Also, Me Before You, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender sound really interesting. Great Post!

I hope to read it soon. I got the book this weekend and can’t wait to read it 🙂

I have The Lunar Chronicles series on my list, as well as Carry On (but I want to get Fangirl first), The Raven Boys, and Illuminae. I also want Golden Son, but I’ll buy the portuguese edition because I bought the first book in Portuguese. However, I don’t know when they are going to release Golden Son… They told me they are going to publish it this year, but they didn’t tell me the month, at least… But you have a very interesting list! 😀

You really need to read The Lunar Chronicles and Fangirl 🙂

Actually, I’m going to order Cinder and Scarlet today! Finally!
But I don’t when I’m going to buy Cress and Winter… I think I’ll tell my father to buy them for my birthday (which is soon: 19th January :p)
And I’ll get Fangirl later, once I get money on my birthday ^^

Birthday money is the best. I bought so many books. But I normally get twice the money because my birthday is 3 days after Christmas 😛 . But it’s best if you start reading Cinder when you have all the books. I had to wait almost 2 years for Winter and it was torture. Okay, I read Fairest while waiting but it’s not the same

Oh, nice!! **
Really? Oh, well, my dad really has to give me Cress and Winter, then. Ahahahah :p

It’s a good idea. Especially if you really like the first book and want to keep reading the other ones 🙂

I think I’m going to love this series because I love fairytales and retellings! And according to the fanart I have seen on Tumblr, I do think I’m going to enjoy Marissa Meyer’s books **

This is a great list! I hope you get to read them all!

I really need all the luck. Knowing me I’ll probably fail at trying reading all of them 😛

I’m sure you won’t!x

What a surprise!! We have been reading pretty much the same books XD

we have, and I think this year it will be even more so, given that we chose the same books for some of the categories of the challenge 😉

That’s true. From what we talked before we will have a few in common 😀

Fromwhat I keep hearing I’m pretty sure they won’t disapoint me

This looks like a good list of books and many of them are on my list as well including The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. It was purely going to be a cover buy but I’ve seen some alright reviews on it as well.

The first time I heard about it I wanted to get it for the cover but a lot of people say wonders about the book so I really want to read it soon

The fact that the protagonist has wings has already hooked me anyway 🙂

All your TBR list looks amazing! I’ve wanted to read The Shock of the Fall for a really long time now. And I can’t wait to hear what you have to say about The Magicians — it sounds amazing, but I’ve heard mixed things about it
LikeLiked by 1 person
I keep hearing mixed things too but I’ve wanted to read The Magicians for about 3/4 years so I hope to read it soon especially because the tv show comes out this month

Wait there’s a tv show coming out??! I had no idea, haha. I guess I have to read it really soon!

So many good books on this list (with such beautiful covers)! A lot of these are actually on my list for the year as well (namely Illuminae and The Raven Boys and Their Fractured Light). Hopefully I get to Winter before the year is out. I just started Cinder, and I’m pretty much attached now. It’s inevitable.
LikeLiked by 1 person
It is. The good thing for you is that all the books were released so you can binge read them. I had to wait almost 2 years for Winter 🙂

This is true. I finished Cinder last night, and I couldn’t even imagine having to wait long for the next books to come out. That’s typically why I wait a while before diving into a series. I can’t handle the wait. Lol.

I should start doing that. It’s always a torture when I have to wait for a sequel to come out and sometimes I even loose interest in the book

Same. Though, the drawback is watching everyone be knee-deep in the series while you’re just floating in the wind. Then, of course, there’s the extra precautions you have to take to avoid being spoiled. Such a double-edged sword.

Being spoiled is the worst. I’m pretty surprised that I wasn’t spoiled with Winter. The book has been out for 2 months

Hopefully you remain spoiler-free until you read it [/sends good vibes]

The Bane Chronicles is such a fun book!
I haven’t read a single book by Colleen Hoover, so I should really get on that. I’m not sure what book to start with by her.

I started with Ugly Love but I know that a lot of people didn’t like that one. One that I really loved was Hopeless. You could try that one first

I heard good things about Hopeless! This will definitely be my year to read Colleen Hoover!

I’ve already read 8 of these books and loved them so much! I hope you enjoy them as well. 🙂

I want to read the Bane Chronicles too! And the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy! They are supposed to get printed this year as well 😀
LikeLiked by 1 person
I was going to include Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy because I want to read it but I was trying not to have any 2016 release and technically it is one 🙂 . I just need to read anything from Cassandra Clare this year XD

I thought so when I looked at the other books 😉

Oh god, I need to read so many of these especially Heir of Fire. I bought Queen of Shadows in a sale but then realised I haven’t read Heir of Fire so I’m stuck >.< Anyways, hope you enjoy Winter and Illuminae. They're both really amazing!

I thought Winter was amazing! Hope you enjoy it. Illuminae, Me Before You, and The Raven Boys are also on my to-read list. Apparently Me Before You is going to be made into a movie, so I’d like to read it soon!

I’m reading Winter right now and I’m loving it so far 🙂 . That’s the main reason I want to read Me Before You. I have wanted to read it for a few years but with the movie coming out this year I really want to try to read it before I watch the movie 🙂

You MUST read A Monster Calls and The Shock of the Fall! They are AMAZING. And of course you must read Heir of Fire because IT IS MINDBLOWINGLY AWESOME.
Carry On is on my TBR for this year, which I know I will definitely be reading it in the next three months.

I saw The Shock of tge Fall de n tbe bookstore last weekend and your review was one of the reasons why I bought it, so I know I’ll read it soon ☺. I still have to buy A Monster Calls and Heir of Fire but I’m pretty sure it will happen soon. I’m also pretty sure that I’ll read Carry On soon. I just need to my order to get here
