Review:

What can I say about this short story? Stephanie Perkins never disappoints. I loved this story. It’s cute and really Christmassy. I really liked the characters especially North. He was extremely cute and showed how kind he could be by helping Marigold. I can’t say a lot because I might spoil you but if you loved Stephanie Perkins’s books chances are that you’re going to love this short story.

Review:

This was not one of my favorite short stories from this book. It’s not that I didn’t like it but I just didn’t connect with the characters. One thing I loved about this story was that it had a LGBT couple but we barely had them together. Most of the short story is about the MC doing something that his boyfriend asked him to do. His boyfriend only appears by the end of the short story. This story could have been really cute but there was something missing.

This is all I have to say in this mini-review. If I say more stuff I will spoil someone and I don’t want to do that. Have you read My True Love Gave to Me? If so what did you think about this short story?
